Reverence for Life is:
THE ETHICAL PRINCIPLE WHICH PERMEATES THE EARTH CHARTER
The Earth Charter’s concluding paragraph says:
“Let ours be a time remembered for the awakening of a new reverence for life, the firm resolve to achieve sustainability, the quickening of the struggle for justice and peace, and the joyful celebration of life.

Have a look at the text of the Charter which is endorsed by the United Nations and many other national and international bodies. It encapsulates key values for our global society and acts as a blue print for the directions that we could take.
