Reverence for Life is:
VALUING AND APPRECIATING THE BEAUTY OF LIFE ON EARTH
While deserts have their own harsh kind of beauty, it is the presence of water which creates the abundance of beauty resulting from the myriad of different forms of life making up the natural plant and animal - including human - worlds - on land, in the rivers, lakes and oceans as well as in the skies.
- Maintaining conditions in which this beauty can flourish and preventing its destruction must be our priority.
- The awe and wonder which arises in us when witnessing our sun setting behind an oceanic horizon is so strong because it speaks to us of the health of the Planet we call our home, and of the promise of a new dawn.
And what can be a more beautiful sight than a class of happy, high-spirited children? They speak to us of renewed life and a healthy future, something to which RfL wants to contribute in Tanzania.
