I was introduced to Albert Schweitzer and his philosophy of Reverence for Life by my wife’s family. To me, it makes perfect sense to respect, preserve and enjoy the wonder of life in all things. I spent over 20 years of my career in the travel industry and have had the privilege of visiting many wonderful and unique places on this earth. I feel it is our duty to love, respect and take good care of people, the environment and animal kingdom for future generations.

I have worked with Reverence for Life UK since 2012 and became directly engaged in its work when they formed a working relationship with a small charity in Tanzania called Valita. I have taken on the role of Project Co-ordinator with Valita and have travelled to Tanzania 4 times to see how our joint projects are progressing.

Having changed my career from travel to plumbing in 2006, I am particularly pleased about our recent water project at Mbopo School, as it has brought fresh water and sanitation facilities to over 1200 students and teachers.

I am a keen runner and run the Bath half marathon each year. I also ran the London marathon in 2019 to help raise much needed funds for our developing projects.

Reverence for Life UK is a registered charity in the UK. Charity No.1197043
