NESt Resource material for classroom use

Teachers interested in exploring the potential of the NESt Initiative in the classroom may down-load the following resource material and adapt it as appropriate to their age-group, curriculum requirements or course subject. This material uses the story of 19 year old Reshma Begun and the Rana Plaza building collapse in Bangladesh in 2013 as the vehicle for the exploration of ethical values in the commercial and political spheres.  However teachers are encouraged to use any appropriate current topical incident at the time of creating their lesson plan. Teachers who embark on this adventure are requested to contact Percy Mark on [email protected] or by telephone on 01223 207 333 to allow us to monitor the progress of this project and amend it through feed-back where possible and necessary.

EPTT grant application giving a full description of the project

The grant application was submitted to a UK Grant-making body with a special interest in education, but was unfortunately unsuccessful due to an overwhelming quantity of applications. It will be resubmitted in due course.
